Practice Manager
After 30 years of teaching middle school students, Linda was ready to try another career. We are so fortunate to have Linda as our Practice Manager. Linda coordinates client care and assists clinicians with organizational tasks. In addition to initiating phone intakes with incoming clients, Linda has the innate ability to put clients at ease on the phone and in the office. Linda is very familiar with health insurance policy requirements and employee assistance programs, eager to assist clients with questions regarding their health insurance coverage. Linda's warm, compassionate personality helps clients feel comfortable and welcomed at Positive Changes Counseling Center. One of Linda's greatest joy is Sammy, our emotional support animal. Linda makes sure Sammy is dressed appropriately for work every day, often with bow-tie.

Ellen Talbert
Office Manager, Intake Coordinator
Ellen has traded in her scrubs as a certified medical assistant to offer her skills on the administrative side as our Office Manager and Intake Coordinator. Ellen's many years as a medical assistant in doctors' offices is proving to be invaluable to our clients and therapists. Ellen is one of the first contacts incoming clients will have with Positive Changes Counseling Center, as she connects with clients during the initial phone intake. Ellen's ability to put clients at ease on the phone and when they come to our office encourages all clients and visitors to look forward to their time at Positive Changes Counseling Center.

Marty Disney
Director of Business Operations
Marty has joined PCCC after an illustrious and varied career. After spending 17 years as a Police Officer with Baltimore City Police Department, ending his tenure as a Detective in the Homicide Unit, Marty entered the world of entrepreneurship as a business owner. His career path took him into the world of insurance and security fraud with the State's Attorney's Office and the Attorney General's Office. We are thrilled to have Marty join PCCC in his capacity as our Director of Business Operations. In addition to all Human Resources responsibilities, Marty has become skilled in understanding the complicated world of health insurance billing. Lauren Disney
Administrative Assistant
Lauren has become an integral member of the administrative team. Lauren coordinates the intake of new clients following the initial phone intake assessment by managing documentation collection and client contact. Lauren assists clinicians in their preparation for scheduling new clients. Lauren has created a successful system for requesting and submitting authorizations necessary with many health insurance policies. Lauren is a 2017 graduate of Virginia Tech, earning her degree in Psychology. In her spare time, Lauren earned her EMT- B and EMT-A certifications with the intention of moving towards a career in the medical profession. Lauren eagerly waits for the return of her husband in December from a very long deployment overseas.
