Individuals of all ages can benefit from therapy; my goal as a therapist is to create a supportive environment in which my client, regardless of age, feels comfortable and is able to grow emotionally.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C), with over 25 years as a school based clinician in the private and public school sectors.  I have had extensive experience helping children, young adults, individuals, couples and families. My key areas of interest and skills include: Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder in adults and children; Anxiety; Anger Management; School Based Issues; Learning Disorders; Adjustment Issues; Family and Relationship Conflicts; Physical and Sexual Trauma; Self Harming Behaviors;  Eating Disorders; Perinatal Mood Disorders; Perinatal Loss;  Grief/Loss; Suicide Survivor; Divorce, Blended Family Issues; Organizational and Time Management Skills; Post Partem; Infertility and loss; LGBTQ; Post Traumatic Stress and Career Growth strategies.  As a client centered and solution-focused therapist, I help my client find ways to recognize strengths and build on those strengths.

I also work with Executives, Administrators and high profile clients who seek support and guidance in a confidential setting. A private entrance and exit as well as early or late appointment availability accommodates clients' needs for privacy.

My private practice , Positive Changes Counseling Center, has grown into a thriving group practice.  I have brought  some very talented therapists into my practice who are passionate about helping clients create their own "positive changes".  All of these clinicians are licensed  and may be in-network with insurance companies. To learn about the clinicians at Positive Changes , click on the link " "Our Therapists".
